Total Being Yoga offers several yoga styles in a comfortable, safe space in which to explore the body, mind, and soul.
Flow with grace in this class. This class is designed for the beginner, intermediate to advanced yogi or yogini. You are guided into a yogic flow sometimes holding the postures within the flow or moving from one pose to another.
This class moves at a slow pace. Poses are held for three to five minutes for the purpose of stretching and releasing the muscles and tendons. The routines encourage a clear focused mind and a relaxed yet energized body.
Long, Slow, Deep (LSD)
This yoga practice uses asana (poses) and breath to allow the body to unwind and relax yet still feel a deep opening in the body. The pace is very slow and minimal poses will be used. This is an all level class, with modifications for each pose.
Essentials for Beginners
This class is perfect for beginners or first timers. It is slow paced and full of information. Yoga essential moves through asanas or poses mindfully and safely while taking the time to notice how your body feels in each pose.
Slow down your yoga practice by lengthening, deepening and following the breath. Learn how to incorporate mindfulness into each movement as you begin to awaken your nervous system and allow it to create peace and calmness.
Yin yoga is the practice of stillness, a slow-pace style of yoga with postures, or asanas, that are held for longer periods of time - for beginners, it may range from one to two mins.; more advanced practitioners may stay in one asana for five mins. or more.
Students move at a steady pace through creative vinyasa sequences to a variety of music. They begin class by getting centered and finding ujjayi breath.
Energize & Strengthen
This class incorporates breath awareness with stronger postures and flowing sequences to build strength and energy in the body and focus in the mind.
All Level Flow
An energetic flow class using breath to movement, while being accessible to ALL levels from beginners to advanced, utilizing various props and being compassionate and mindful of where you are in your own practice.
This class is focused on connecting breath with movement. Bring your awareness back into the body. Moving mindfully into asanas or poses while being guided by your breathe.
